Did not receive any compensation from the Govt. for the acquisition of land. Qn. Dear Sir/Madam, We are Hindus. My grandfather bought 700 square feet of land on the * Road in 1970-80 which is now the clock section of the famous Park. The then government, with CM **, acquired the land without paying a penny in return. My grandparents fought for the land along with the other neighbouring property owners but lost the track of it after my grandfather dies, since my grandmother was not educated. My parents never took up the case because they were busy earning their bread and living. I believe it is totally unfair on the government's part since it was my grandparent's blood earned money. We could have lived different lives if the land value was compensated. I want to know if my parents can fight for the land now? If they do so, what amount will they be compensated for?
